Loan Fees
Loan Fee Distribution
Loan fees are prepaid when the loan is opened. An extension fee is paid when you extend, or added to the loan. No ongoing interest: one transparent fee covers the entire term.
Dynamic Fee by Duration
Formula: 2.0% origination + 0.005% × days.
| Loan Duration | Total Fee |
|---|---|
| 10 days | 2.05% |
| 30 days | 2.15% |
| 100 days | 2.5% |
| 365 days | 3.825% |
| 1,000 days | 7.0% |
These are total fees, not annualized rates. Very competitive for short-term borrowing.
These are the current rates and term limits. Read the live values in the app before you borrow.
Fee Distribution
Loan fees go through the same fee contract as trade fees, with their own split. There is no referral share; the creator of the collateral token takes 20%.
| Recipient | Share of a loan fee |
|---|---|
| Vault of the token's main | 10% |
| Operating team | 10% |
| Token creator | 20% |
| BASIS buyback | 60% |
Payouts are made in the pair asset of the token's main (USDG on the STASIS pair).
Key Points
- Fees are prepaid, with two exceptions: an extension fee you choose to add to the loan, and the token's normal sell fee on the proceeds when you close a loan by selling collateral. No margin calls.
- Repayment is the exact loan amount, in the asset you borrowed, with no added interest
- Leveraged tokens cannot be used as loan collateral
